between a coral snake and a king snake ?

The coral snakes are venomous while the kingsnakes are not.
Whether or not there is much difference between the political parties depends upon who you are or what your focus is.
Thank you I knew the difference and a similar version of the rhyme. I believe he intended it to be a political metaphor. I certainly agree it depends on your perspective.
Excellent metaphor. We thought Obama looked like a friendly King snake that would help keep all the rats at bay. Turns out he's really a poisonous coral snake who has a taste for constitutional cuisine.
Regarding the NDAA, President Obama wrote, “In particular, I have signed this bill despite having serious reservations with certain provisions that regulate the detention, interrogation, and prosecution of suspected terrorists.”
What did he do instead? He fought hard to keep the same indefinite detention provisions of the NDAA intact after they were overturned.
Not only does he love keeping enemies under indefinite detention, he also loves keeping innocent people who happened to get swept up in Afghanistan locked up as well.

The wording on abortion in the GOP platform hasn't changed since 1980. And that wording does NOT ban abortions in the cases of rape or incest at all.

Less than 1 percent of injuries from snake bites in the United States are from coral snakes. Less than 1 percent of abortions performed in the US every year are due to rape or incest.
All of the above, no offense, just serves the money mongers. Actually what we have in mind is a benevolent dictator, the elimination of Congress in favor of a "team" comprised of one representative from every state, the creation of a national police force, the closure of all but federal prisons in favor of corporal punishment, the complete confiscation of all state and local taxes for the purpose of addressing the debt, the relocation of all military forces to our northern and southern borders, the confiscation of all corporations that either import or export without specific approbation... we are closing the federal reserve, confiscating all banking assets, and introducing an internal fiat currency. And that is just to start but I think it fair to say we can wing it on the rest which, let's face it, is all very simply decided minor issues.
This is what I call a common sense approach... it has worked everywhere throughout the world for hundreds of years. And in fact, it is the only form of governance even remotely possible - as our current state well proves.
