If the movement was dead you trolls wouldn't still be here, now would you?

there are no normal recoveries in a game of expanding automation

And apparently you are clueless to the basic history lessons as to how social movements work. If the grievances and injustices that the social movement protested against aren't dealt in a rational way by the ruling class of that society then it is almost a guarantee that the social movement will not die.

It's apparent things are just fine for you, the one-percent guy, but has anything changed or improved for the majority? Has the political and economic corruptions been fixed? But, hey, go ahead and keep living in your little fantasy that just because you got yours that the social movement known as OWS is dead and won't come back. Just don't be surprised when people are back on the streets....

And I had such high hopes when I opened this post that I would find logic and facts to support the assertion claimed in the title - oh well. moving on.

I remember the great March on Washington of 1963. I was in High School and a group of us were organizing to go. There was a pre rally in the Polo Grounds in Harlem a few days ahead. It was a total flop. The media and my right wing racist classmates were saying it was going to flop and be a disaster for civil rights. As it turned out 250,000 or more showed up. I want to say more about that too. There were millions of liberal whites, white progressives and African Americans within a short bus ride from Washington DC. Of all of them 250,000 showed up. That was enough to change the conversation and get push the movement forward that got civil rights legislation passed.

Please, these emotional wrecks can't even accept that their "side" lost in WI without making up lame, lying excuses for it like CU.

Where are the 1% of ows people who can think critically and accept reality? Pooping on a police car somewhere, perhaps?

[-] -2 points by onepercentguy (294) 11 years ago

the amount of emotionally unstable ppl ive talked to on here since november is frightening

[-] -3 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

Agreed. And with 9/11 truthers sprinkled--ahem--liberally throughout, it only makes it more of an angry swamp of idiocy.

[-] 0 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

And yet here are you two, feeding some reaction in your brain that enjoys arguing with the "idiocy"...

You tell me who the bigger idiots are? The ones on here that converse with each other over stuff they seem to agree on? Or the ones that dont but come here to fill some void get their rocks off?

[-] -1 points by onepercentguy (294) 11 years ago

if you ppl actually agreed on anything, your movement would still be relevant and you wouldnt be stuck here circle jerking with the fringe and mentally ill all day

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Says the guy that is here also.....

[-] 2 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

"and who isnt using OWS to whore his shitty advertising business lol"

ooooh, that's gonna leave a mark.

Hello, hypocrisy.

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

? Some of us actually arent afraid to put our names behind things.

Whats yours?

[-] 0 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

So it's either fear or bravery, no other reason not to put one's name out.

Congrats! Another binary!

Can you even count to 3?

[-] 0 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Who said anything about bravery? Why do you take everything and jump to the opposite conclusion, and then scream about binary?

Lets not take my trying to show people that "a population who wont even put their own names on a internet posting is far from one that can govern itself" is some act of bravery. Its not.

[-] 1 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

"Who said anything about bravery?"

you did, dummy. right here: "Some of us actually arent afraid to put our names behind things."

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

And determine that then by doing it, it is bravery?

Wow...

[-] 1 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

you don't know what "afraid" means?

9/11 truthers, despite the overwhelming odds, find new depths of stupidity and incompetence to plunge down into every single day.

keep talking in circles. it is the truther way.

[-] -3 points by onepercentguy (294) 11 years ago

a simpleton who threatens violence when confronted with dissent. this old hat again.

and when i say "business," i mean a shitty template website and personal phone number that took all of thirty minutes to throw togethor

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Care to let us know who you are? I can clearly see that you enjoy coming on various political sites, some you like, some you dont.

My question is, why stay on a site you dispise so much?

[-] 0 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

Something tells me she's in her 20's and looking forward to retirement in Portland in the next couple of years.

[-] -1 points by onepercentguy (294) 11 years ago

and who isnt using OWS to whore his shitty advertising business lol

[-] -2 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

It's always a binary with you dimwits.

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Id like to give you a binary combo right upside the head....

Why arent you are work right now?

[-] -1 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

Another binary. If you aren't at work when truther hchc thinks you should be, well, SOMETHING must be going on! No other options can possibly be possible!

As for why people who disagree with ows might be here, if you can't figure out options 3 to <whatever>, how can you expect to be taken seriously? Other than by fellow reality denying ows truthers, of course.

Tell me, have you blasphemed against any of the well known truther articles of faith? Or do you stand by each and every one of them, stridently defending the veracity and logic of them all?

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I dont back any of them, Im sorry you saw what I posted and assumed that I must be in one camp of the other.

Other options on why you arent working are possible.

What are they?

[-] 1 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

You don't back any what?

Who said I wasn't working?

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Articles of faith. I dont back any of em. Im not a steel construction worker, and Im not a physicist. Ive met a few of both that question the events of that day, but Im not educated enough to give an opinion for sure on the events.

I do know that whatever the official story from the gov was, it probably wasnt 100% true. What was fake and what wasnt, who knows.

What do you do for work?

[-] 1 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

maybe you don't realize it, but you've already quoted some of the holy truther talking points.

you're real big on one of them, too. the idiocy that says not being a truther = loving and trusting 100% what the govt and bush admin says. you dropped that one at least 5 times.

is this willful ignorance, or just ignorance?

another one you just admitted. that since we don't know 100% of everything that happened, we really can't be sure. there are things that are unknowable. search for noam chomsky's remarks on the truthers in YT. you know, the noam chomsky who MUST LOVE bush because he doesn't believe inside job.

my job is none of your business.

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Have you ever seen the movie Office Space? That game the nutty old guy created, what was it called?

[-] 1 points by slizzo (-96) 11 years ago

jump to conclusions. must be a truther favorite, seeing how tonkin is often cited as proof of 9/11 inside job.
