A quick Google Search(see link) shows that dozens of citys now have passed new anti-camping laws on their books. These laws are aimed at Occupy and homeless at large. Anti-Camping laws were mainly in big citys and rarely enforced. Homeless have responed to harrasment in big citys by just moving out into smaller citys like Scranton PA and Binghamton NY and cute college towns like Ithaca NY. Most homeless and hobos just want to live a simple nomadic life and be left alone as they have done forever before this mess. As for myself I am not looking forward to having my sleeping spots blown as a long distance bicylist and part time train hopper.(Like that gazebo on Long Island) Occupy should do something to mitigate the unintentional conseqences of this. Pottinger vs City of Miami is case law on there side..But my last converastion with NLG they told me no lawsuits..

I am glad someone else here knows what COINTELPRO and Hoovervilles are...At least "someone else" must have back Issues of Covert Action Quaterly in there basement. Most homeless are non-political vets who served there time. They spent so much time camping in jungles that being stuck under a roof and 4 walls seems foriegn. When you think about it most of human society has been nomadic except for the last 500 years or so. A single man was concripted into one army or navy and spent a good chunk of his life outdoors. I dont feel right even sleeping under my own roof so I sleep on my back porch weather permitting. I know Amercorp has programs that get young folks outside and by the way CSX and NS railroads are hiring freight conducters.

This is an excellent point.

First OWS imitated and embraced the homeless later they tried to cut off their meals.

Now all city's have banned 'camping', ... funny we already know that OWS is/was a COINTELPRO Operation, ... certainly the elite don't want 'hoovervilles' during the OBama admin, and now 'camping' is a crime everywhere, thanks to OWS.
