When the North made slavery illegal it was not accepted by the South cause the North wanted the revenues from the factories in the South Having slave labor in the South meant the landowner could hire his own people thus keeping all the profits for cotton farming etc The North as usual wanted GREED and made slavery illegal thus threatening the South's way of life.So that led to the civil war between the N and S Today is the same set up for another civil war but this time it will be the Have's vs the Have Not's. People will just start burning down banks mansions stealing and plundering from the wealthy. It's gonna happen. People all around where I live have their backs against the wall and when you corner a rat it's gonna bite back. So get ready cause it's coming
The Civil War was not a civil war at all but a War between the States. The Constitution garranties succesion but the North would not honor that. Also the conflict helped industralization in Europe through their equiping of both sides.
I think the have nots are not wise enought to work for what they want and therefore they are jellous. They will become much wiser if they figure out how to beat those that have at their own game. ccljerry@yahoo.com

So are you saying that the South should have kept slavery? Kind of sounds like it. I hope that you are not going to be one of the leaders in the next civil war!
