A few days ago I made a post- copied an article I found in the online magazine Counterpunch. It was an article by an African American author, someone who is said to be a civil rights activist and a contributor to http://blackagendareport.com/. I posted it as it originally appeared which included using a particular word tht many people correctly are offended by. I felt that the writer had a right to express himself using a word for shock value if that was his decision. I felt unqualified to censor him and I indeed agreed with the sense of his post which was that US politics revolves around what could be called the "Black question." Now, i take this information as being a strong argument for participating in the two party fraud this election cycle because i see the election as being a referendum on whether a member of a racist secretive cult can unite the worse fascistic elements of this country - white supremacists, people who believe that rape is a gift from their god, gangster zionists like Sheldon Adelson, Wall Street bankers who belong in jail, etc - unite them all in order to kick out the first black president of the United States, and use every imaginable deception and trick to do so.

Now I have raised two children who are not black. I always taught them never ever to use that word, no matter who else does and no matter who might tell them it's either cool or okay to do so. In my own day to day life I do not use it and try to shun whites who do use it.

As sensitive as I like to think I am i just did not yet comprehend the power of that word, its evil power. I used it in a quote. I was wrong to do so. I have taken it down, deleted it. While I often argue with VQkag2 and still will do so I want to tell him in public that he was right to call me on that and I was wrong.

OMG! I'm not worthy!

No, seriously....I am humbled that you have gone public with this.

Hopefully, with open dialogue, communication and the ability to see beyond the mistakes of the past (by all) we can move forward to more positive thoughts, words and deeds in uniting nations in peace and prosperity.

By the way, I ain't too worried about those who will never get it!
That's their problem.

Thanks..

I made a big mistake in public and I know I atleast hurt you and VQkag2. Having done that in public the least I could do was to apologize in public too. I appreciate your generosity of spirit.

I call VQkag2 my worthy opponent and not you because he and I have a few differences that we air here on this forum. I still disagree mightily with him and I still will make those differences known. I do not recall having any dispute with you, so you are no kind of opponent to me at all.

Again I appreciate your openness in allowing me to say that I was wrong without trashing and trying to destroy me. That would have been your right to do.

Well once again. No prob dude. Can't say I honestly recall what we disagree on, but I hope that I have never been disrespectful.

It is important to me that I remain civil and truthful.

You are alright by me.

Thanx, Peace, & solidarity.

No, actually I have no right to trash anyone. Yet, when I am angry.....all decency flies out the window..wouldn't you agree?

Hey, I look forward to your continued thoughts and posts on here. Take care...

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

LOL.

classic. I really was interested in what Matt had to say but I frequently cannot decipher his meaning.

Who gets the paycheck when the first baseman comes to get paid?

[-] 1 points by LeoYo (5909) 11 years ago

Ultimately, his wife.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

LMFAO!!!

That's good.

I don't even think that was part of the original routine. Was it.?

[-] 1 points by LeoYo (5909) 11 years ago

Well, not exactly. He does say that "Sometimes his wife get's it."

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago
