Forum Post: Americans Deserve their suffering

Posted 11 years ago on Oct. 10, 2012, 7:18 p.m. EST by matoinyanawacis (157)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

If they are too stupid to actually open their eyes and ears and stop being "LOW" information morons about what parasite in our government is causing their suffering and why, then they deserve their suffering.. if they can't see just who is blocking their voice (vote) from being heard in our government, then they do not deserve to have their voice heard.. if they vote solely for their own selfish interests and not for the betterment of our nation and society as a whole, then they deserve to be kicked to the margins of society and forgotten, because the rich who did manage to steal and cheat enough of our taxes out of us to make their selfish desires come true sure as hell won't notice a poor, no option citizen, except to claim it is the poor who are ruining our economy. I am fed up with the stupidity of idiots who DARE to call themselves Americans, when all they care about is their own selfish desires, screw the country. If Americans are stupid enough to reelect ANY republican sycophant of the rich back into power in congress, God Forbid even to the white house, then as far as I am concerned, they will justly deserve the suffering they will have earned by allowing these EXTREME and/or religious zealots back into power. Enjoy your cake if these tyrants get in again... they will even serve it to you in a bedpan.

Dont narrow your rant to just Republicans(justified as it may be). The Democratic party has just as many rich extremists. The Dems are expert in deception. This "helping the poor and middle class" act is cover for taking wealth, power and control. Get the special intrest money out of both sides, or suffer the same evils from either.

[-] 1 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

yeah thats why the dems created social security, medicare, and thousands of other programs geared 'specifically' toward the poor and middle class. Is there corrupt politicians in the dem party? Sure. Of course by researched evidence, 87% repugnacans... 13% democrats... I would hardly call that equal corruption. But as usual, you completely missed the whole point of the post... FIND THE TRUTH is the point. KNOW what and who you are sending to Washington to represent YOU. After all, their crimes ARE being committed in YOUR name.. you put them in, so you have the majority of the blame. Laziness is the worst crime a citizen can commit. With todays information technology, no one, NO ONE, can claim to be unable to access the truth about ANY politician.

Exactly!

I agree. If they elect this megalomaniacal "ultra-conservative' poor people hater,, they get what they deserve.

[-] 2 points by arturo (3169) from Shanghai, Shanghai 11 years ago

Unfortunately, you could say the same thing about a nuclear WWIII, which we are on the verge of right now. Think about it, last time we had a major economic crisis - the great depression, it was followed by World War II.

Over the last few years, the US, led by the nose by the global corporations, has been blitzkrieging its way through Africa and the middle east. Now, as we contemplate continuing our holy war into Iran and Syria, we face the possibility of confronting the world's other super-powers, Russia and China, which have both indicated that this is the line they have drawn in the sand.

And what has the response been here at the OWS forum to such possibilities? "I ain't afraid of no Russians", one respondent said. Like I was saying, if we are wiped off the face of the planet, must be because we deserve it.

[-] 2 points by TruthRightsFreedom (259) 11 years ago

Yea, a narrow rant won't help matoinyanawacis. There are a few generalizations in there too that are probably frustrating you and exacerbating the perceptions of dysfunctional Americans, not that they are not, its more a matter of them being manipulated and not knowing why, how and when.

Corporatism is now insidious.

[-] 1 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

Thus the point of the post...Only an idiot allows themselves to be fooled by words. Actions speak LOUDER than words... a politicians past actions speak louder than any smooth words they say... idiots just hear the words cause they are too lazy to find the truth.. hence.. they deserve the suffering they caused themselves. Problem is they also cause the suffering of others as a result of their UNTHINKING actions of electing someone they know nothing about.

PARAGRAPH STRUCTURE

Most paragraphs in an essay have a three-part structure—introduction, body, and conclusion. You can see this structure in paragraphs whether they are narrating, describing, comparing, contrasting, or analyzing information. Each part of the paragraph plays an important role in communicating your meaning to your reader.

Introduction: the first section of a paragraph; should include the topic sentence and any other sentences at the beginning of the paragraph that give background information or provide a transition.

Body: follows the introduction; discusses the controlling idea, using facts, arguments, analysis, examples, and other information.

Conclusion: the final section; summarizes the connections between the information discussed in the body of the paragraph and the paragraph’s controlling idea. http://www.indiana.edu/~wts/pamphlets/paragraphs.shtml

The problem with people getting what they deserve is that the minority that didn't go along with the majority suffers just the same as the deserving majority.

Amen to that. This November the people are going to screw all the kids again as usual.

yes b/c voting has helped so much. Are founding father talked and talked but when it was apparent that talking was not going to work they did some thing about it. the weak fat Americans will never got to arms and a lot of the poor and middle class can't vote b/c their felons of laws in which they cant buy there way out of ....i was charge with an f4 felony i was told with 70 grand it would all go away.and so yr telling me to vote to change things what about the other two million people like me are we to poor to wretched to have a vote

[-] 1 points by BetsyRoss (-744) 11 years ago

Your point seems to be that stupid people deserve to suffer.

It would seem illogical, as well as cruel, to wish ill upon the very people you just defined as being incapable of making intelligent and rational decisions.

Maybe you could elaborate upon the criteria you used as parameters to define "stupid". :P

[-] 1 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

If you takeaway from the post is "too stupid to vote" then reread the post again. The point is "FIND"(look for) the truth about WHO you are voting to represent you in washington... don't just accept what they tell you, or how nice their hair looks, or what a biased source tells you about the candidate.. actually spend a moment or two researching the truth behind a politician....NO ONE in this society can claim that they do not have access to research facilities to find such information... free of charge... they're called "LIBRARIES". And ANYONE has the right to use them. Those who are to lazy to find the truth, step off a cliff without looking... problem is they drag other victims along with them to suffer. Take from that what you will

[-] 1 points by Shule (2638) 11 years ago

I've been stocking my pantry. I can hold out for years.

[-] 1 points by Shayneh (-482) 11 years ago

The question I have is this - are those who are well off smarter then those who are not and if so - why?

[-] 2 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

Not Smarter, just usually rich enough to hide the truth from those who may be able to alter the outcome they want enacted for their own benefit.

[-] 1 points by NVPHIL (664) 11 years ago

I wouldn't say the rich are smarter. Just better connected and more devious.

[-] 1 points by Shayneh (-482) 11 years ago

Well, if someone is better connected aren't they more knowledgeable? And as the old saying goes "knowledge is power".

[-] 3 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

Knowledge may be power, but without Wisdom, power is just blunt force. I may KNOW how to use a hammer, but if I try to use it in the dark, the outcome is usually unfortunate. Find the truth about those you send to washington to represent your voice, because what they hide about themselves can really ruin not only your life, but others lives as well... and if you don't... well let's just say... a hammer hurts when you don't see it coming.

[-] 2 points by NVPHIL (664) 11 years ago

Not at all. Bush was well connected and is a moron. Your right about knowledge is power but that doesn't mean power is knowledge.

[-] 1 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

amen

[-] 0 points by Neuwurldodr (744) 11 years ago

Define "well off"...physical health, mental health, food on the table, the ability to live with and for the good of others....hope, faith, charity?

Or just plain greed that eats the heart out of the weak for dinner? It is a known fact also....."The Devil can do mighty things"...

[-] 1 points by Shayneh (-482) 11 years ago

You are avoiding the question - your post is about the rich and wealthy so I asked the question that was related to that - Are those who are well of (rich and wealthy) smarter then those who are not and if so - why?

[-] 1 points by BetsyRoss (-744) 11 years ago

The problem with such a question is the assumption that all people who fall into a specific financial category are exactly the same. The idea that if one, or some, or even MOST of the people in a group are stupid or smart, then they all are is flawed logic.

Do all people define "well off" the same way? Or can poverty/wealth be viewed in relative terms as well as dollar amounts? Define "smarter"-are you talking about raw IQ scores or practical common sense knowledge? Street smarts? Life experience?

[-] 1 points by Neuwurldodr (744) 11 years ago

Scuse you, but me thinks you are looking at the wrong post. There is nothing in my remark about "the rich and the wealthy". I do believe I also answered your question..... The Devil can do mighty things.....man is the only devil and/or Angel I have ever seen in my lifetime. Have you ever danced with the Devil...I mean...for real tho?

[-] 1 points by Shayneh (-482) 11 years ago

Tell me what does this statement suggest:

If Americans are stupid enough to reelect ANY republican sycophant of the rich back into power in congress

You do use the word "rich" in the text don't you?

[-] 1 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

Hey shayneh, I believe you are talking to the wrong person. I am the one who wrote the original post... and I believe I answered your question above, in fact I think I did it twice, but if you need further clarification, feel free to ask.

[-] 1 points by Shayneh (-482) 11 years ago

Sorry about that.

[-] 0 points by Neuwurldodr (744) 11 years ago

What are you making reference to my dear?

Are you Shayneh, or Shayneh neh!!! Who are you and what the hell post are you talking about?

Copy, paste, or get the number of the original post because I am not the one..dumb dumb!!

[-] 2 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

Hey troll, go back under you're bridge, your rude disparaging remarks only show you for what you are.

[-] 0 points by Neuwurldodr (744) 11 years ago

Scuse you? What disparaging remarks are YOU referring too? This one perhaps....."I am fed up with the stupidity of idiots who DARE to call themselves Americans, when all they care about is their own selfish desires, screw the country. "??? Are these not your exact words? So, my question to you is....whose side are you really on?
If you are any indication of the 'OTHER SIDE' that should be put in office....then truly....LORD HELP US ALL!!! You spew more hatred, indignation and ignorance than the very ones whose neck you are trying to put your foot on. Therefore; I would wonder how soon your instability of thought would have you turn against those you allegedly favor now,,,,individuals such as yourself can't be trusted either!
But, then again, that's what happens with Egomaniac-matoinyanawacis'. :LOL

[-] -1 points by yobstreet (-575) 11 years ago

In many cases they are smarter, yes. Why? Because they are born that way.

There is also this thing of applying oneself, and creating opportunity, and often that is motivated by the observable effect of a lack of motivation in others.

[-] 1 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

Such limited observations of causal effects of intelligence is stunning. Birth has little to do with smarts... exposure to stimuli and knowledge does. Motivation only affects ones desire to acquire knowledge, and that can be controlled through making the knowledge fun to learn. And no offense, but I get the feeling you did not enjoy school much, did you? I very much did. And I still love to learn new things every day. That's why it saddens me when people allow themselves to be duped by pretty words, instead of actually finding the truth.

[-] -1 points by yobstreet (-575) 11 years ago

You are 100% entirely incorrect - the mind is a genetic creation. And it's one of the primary reasons America came into existence; there was a far greater density in the intelligence pool of early America than anywhere else in the world at that particular time. What has since saved us, in the wake of massive immigration, is our enhanced ability to attract the intelligence of other nations - we've attracted their scientists and researchers. We can confirm this with a simple Google exercise - pick any educated family of scientists or researchers and plug that name into Google and you'll see how many of their descendants are now in the US.

I struggled with school from the outset; by the time I was ten years old I realized that that which came naturally, which I was simply "doing," did not perfectly align with the performance of others, and that it was destined to set me apart; I just wanted to fit in, so... it can be a frightening experience to have some old, grey, blue-hair with horn-rimmed glasses, whispering in your child-ear that you are on the path of "valedictorian" - my response, what the hell is a valedictorian?

It was a different world then.

School was so f*cking boring... I could blast any one year curriculum into any three or four month time span; "school" in typical public education form is intellectually demoralizing.

The purpose of education is not merely the acquisition of learn-ed knowledge, as the carbon-copy knowledge of others, but to create knowledge, and it should be presented from the outset in this form.

I consider myself a perpetual student and I take curiosity to levels that few will ever consider.

[-] 0 points by Shayneh (-482) 11 years ago

Tell me how is a person born "smart"? That's a new one I never heard of

However I have come to know people who were not very smart when they were young who are not very smart and very wealthy.

Wonder what they did to make that change?

[-] -2 points by yobstreet (-575) 11 years ago

Intelligence is genetically heritable; you pose the question, are the well off smarter and the answer is that, in general, they are, yes.

[-] 1 points by matoinyanawacis (157) 11 years ago

genetics is only part.. environment however plays the larger role in intelligence.. so long as a child is exposed to educational stimuli, intelligence is a forgone conclusion... lack of education causes IQ drops.. the first three years of life are critical... Genetics doth intelligence not make alone.

[-] -1 points by yobstreet (-575) 11 years ago

In the sense of neurological synapse, I'll buy some of that. But I will not buy all of it, unless you are selling really cheap. Which in the effort to attain market share, profit by volume, is exactly what most educators do.

THE 0BAMA REGIME.

  1. You MUST buy health insurance.

  2. You may not create a new location for your business w/o govt approval (Boeing).

  3. You must eat only food authorized.

  4. You may not use the name Barack Obama in vain (ie AttackWatch.com).

  5. The name God shall not be uttered in public events, unless CLEARLY referring to Barack Obama.

  6. You must support the homosexual agenda.

  7. You may not speak/write anything against the gov't.

  8. You may not possess or distribute the American flag unless it has a photo of Obama on it

[-] 4 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

The whole nation should be angry.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd realise how badly you are being screwed by those who were elected to protect your best interests. Do your own soul-searching, and try to figure out why you still seem to be in the dark about your own circumstances.

[-] -2 points by podman73 (-652) 11 years ago

Your going to comment on my circumstances? I really don't have it that bad, things are bad for some not for others. I'm not happy about a lot but I'm not going around ragging about it, why do you think you have to do that to make change?

[-] 3 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Good for you. But I will remind you that #ows is an anarchic dissidence movement, and "ragging" about the injustices of the current political climate is what we do.

Ragging with no results? Not a very good business model is it, that's just pouting.
