And now the Shrieking and Bleating of Second Amendment Advocates becomes Deafening.I submit here and now that these same people do absolutely nothing to Build or Protect Community.Let's take a trip in the Wayback Machine...all the way back to the days following the Landfall of Hurricane Katrina-Monday morning of August 29,2005.Widespread Panic and Destruction ensued, and several days later,Mercenaries and the National Guard were busily disarming the Residents who still remained in NOLA and surrounding Parishes. There was no attempt at secrecy-these activities were widely reported. At the time,I was sure that Second Amendment Advocates from Louisiana,Texas and Mississippi and many other states would spring into action to interfere. In fact, there wasn't even very much loud screaming until after the deed was done, and most of that was confined to Infowars and other similar Websites on the Internets. There was no Press Conference by NRA officials. There was no March on Washington or the Capital of Louisiana. So I don't believe the Second Amendment Advocates would do ANYTHING to defend the citizenry from Roundups or Death Squads. They don't even do anything about the Gun Grabs that are going on right now and you don't hear a word about a rapidly accelerating rate of unfounded cancellations of permits and Gun Grabs all around the country.Few Second Amendment Advocates ever speak out about infringements of civil rights that are even more basic such as Stop&Frisk, the (Anti)Patriot Act,or the Trampling of #OWS Right To Peacefully Assemble In Order To Petition For Redress of Grievances. They seem to believe that Civil Liberties can be defended on a case by case basis. This flies in the Face of Common Sense and what History teaches about how People are turned into Slaves. It's not hard to understand-When MONEY is Debt,People are SLAVES!

You should have seen what they did during the RNC in Tampa. Shameful.

Tried to arrest us for taking pictures of the forum. The building that our taxes pay for. And where was everyone to stand up to this? No where to be found.

And then after the RNC, they say they want to keep the 112 cameras and put em all over town. Had hearing. You know how many people showed up? About 30. Occupy Tampa and a few others.

Everyone talks a good game, but when it comes to standing up, its always "Well dont all stand up at the same time now guys"...

Lots of Fine Words,Lame Excuses,Tricky Semantics and Staying Safely Out Of The Way-As you can see above, our So-Called (more like self described) Patriots, supposedly Ever Vigilant so as to Jealously Guard Our Sacred Second Amendment Rights were in Reality Sound Asleep upon the only Occasion in Living Memory when The State actually Physically confiscated Firearms.People who do not want to be Shot Down like Rats In A Dump-or Roasted Crisply Cannot be Blamed. But These Poseurs won't even admit they can't win in an Armed Stand-off.They wish for us to Believe that they Deserve to Possess Deadly Weapons that they Dare Not Use whilst these Same Weapons are Constantly and Easily Filched by Head Cases for Use in Crimes that Beggar Imagination.Wait & See-they will not Rally,Organize,March or Demonstrate because they are Great Bags of Wind.

I tried to tell you a long time ago about Florida and Mr. Scott/ALEC's FELONY for taking photographs.

You scoffed at me. Wedge issue, you declared, if you even believed it was true then, as I was the one who told you about it..

Until he came for you.

Now it's an issue.

Did you write Gov. Scott and ALEC a thank you letter?

They are protecting you from trade marked pixels and photons.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Dude, thats been an issue for longer than Occupy has been around ok.

Go back to your cave.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Another insult?

You did call it a wedge issue.

God you're a stupid fuck.

Jumping on a comment, being an asshole.

You should shut your ugly little mouth and quite making shit up about people..

". Wedge issue, you declared, if you even believed it was true then, as I was the one who told you about it.."

The day I learn something from some bitter prick like you is the day that I have stopped being involved in shit for a very long time.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Aww.

Lying and insulting some more.

You're just a lying sack of perfection.

Bitter is all your lies and insults.

Even more bitter is calling the 99% asses.

Now back to your regularly scheduled attack on liberals.

Now that's bitter.

All your name calling?

That makes you the prick, or the asshole.

Your "choice".

Jackass.

Jump on a comment, acting like an asshole.

And we should all bow down and take it because its the mighty shooz, busted his ass at OccDetroit.....................

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

It's an open forum.

If you have a problem with that, you can leave.

You spend most of your time here either lying about something or insulting people anyway.

It's your choice.

I warned you about the photography problem and you called it a wedge issue.

So I'm supposed to pretend you didn't?

Sorry Jack. I don't lie about things like you do.

Now back your regularly scheduled drunkin' insults.

^ Cant let it go...

Actually you made it up, Ive never even spoken on the issue here, and I can assure that video issues came up in Occupy in 2011.

How many times have you been recorded when dealing with cops?

Good night troll.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Now you're lying about me.

Perhaps you were drunk at the time?

I remember it clearly.

You called it a wedge issue and unimportant.

How bitter would you consider that?

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

A wedge issue? Unimportant? You think that I would say the state having the right to record me and not me back would be unimporant? Did you ever spend a night at OD once? Even once? Deal with the cops?

That doesnt even make sense. And Im going to assume Ive dealt with the cops more than you, especially lately, no offense to you or anything on that.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

That's what you said.

A wedge issue, unimportant.

Like I said, it was likely because you were drunk and it was me that said it.

You don't like me much. I get it, but I don't lie. You do.

Once again I will answer your questions, though I wonder why I bother.

You never really answer any of mine.

Yes and yes.

I'm sure you'll assume whatever else you want.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Ya, Im sure I was drunk and all of sudden decided to side with the cops on that.....especially while drunk. haha. Any other wild tales for us tonight? :p

Aaaah maaaaannn...Im tellin ya....gotta love the internet.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

You sound like you're drunk now.

You've already forgotten what this is about and made your assumptions.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

This was about you being an asshole and jumping on my comment with tales of me taking the states side, or claiming its not important if they can record occupiers but not vise versa....

The assumption is you dont particiapte in Detroit so it really doesnt matter what you say, Im never going to see you.

And actually everyone just went out but Im staying in tonight, have work to do tomorrow...soooo glad I hopped on here, what a great conversation weve had.

Good night troll.

Probably because in all the chaos no one paid attention to this one issue. There has been lots of after-the-fact news articles and a few youtube videos on it. During Katrina it was effectively martial law; and people were more worried about just surviving. I have seen pictures of neighborhoods displaying signs saying looters will be shot, so they didn’t get all the guns.
