Petition to Investigate Betrayal of the Nobel Peace Prize
Have they ever done that? I don't think they even took Haber's prize in Chemistry in spite of his work in chemical warfare and munitions. I think giving a prize for what you hope someone might accomplish makes the entire the foundation and the entire process look foolish to say the least. While I agree the prize should be taken back, I think their pride would prevent them from admitting their error.
There's always a first time, & it's far better to try & fail than not even try.
Easy for me to agree with this, I was against giving a prize when there hadn't been any actual accomplishment. I have a difficult time believing they will have the humility to admit they made a mistake, but again better to at least try.
