It's hard to determine what the OCW hopes to accomplish. I think more people would be supportive if we proposed a solution or focus for our actions. What is it we want that would correct this situation? I'd love to resurrect the term-limits referendum. Congress is in the back pocket of corporations and lobbyists. If they didn't need to focus on the campaign contributions for re-election, perhaps they'd work for us instead. Voting them out of office doesn't work; they're too connected. Both parties are pathetic. We need representatives who will actually "represent" the 99%.

The problem with progressive movements is that in their desire to be inclusive they allow themselves to be overshadowed by the looneys.

I've seen news that Occupy Wall Street is releasing a list of demands on July 4th, 2012. I'm attempting to get a vote held to prioritize the demands in a most important (read: highest vote count) to least important.

Your extremely rational and productive proposal is going to be very unpopular among the people who respond to your post. Draw whatever conclusions you like from that about the rationality and productivity of the Occupy movement. Plenty of them truly feel that they'll accomplish more by accomplishing nothing.
