worth a look. we need to be careful about psychological operations. we've seen so far how a meme like #invadewallstreet can be tough to put down. let's make sure that our aims are not hijacked.

agreed. The 'DailyKos', MoveOn's, and Michael Moore's trying to re-up their popularity (thus make more money) will abuse and use this organization until there is nothing left.

Beware those already established.

agreed, the tea party were labeled radicals until they got co-opted by the republicans. Then all of a sudden they were a right wing movement.. Im not saying that itll happen to OWS, but be aware of this, as it is heading in that direction.

You can use the support, and still retain the message.

Its simply a matter of staying on that message, and keeping these people and organisations focused on that message when forces combine. Like the guy who was interviewed by FOX News. He forced the reporter to stay on his message, and even made the guy defend himself and his employer, through well articulated comments, that kept him in check.

And frankly, I think this movement lines up with what a LOT of the left supports and fights for. Keep them focused on those common points, and they can take this movement quite far in a very short period of time.

I would just add the the 99% is made up of people on both the left and the right. The power of this movement is in it's numbers. If you alienate one side you will not be representing the 99% and the movement will die. Focus on getting the corporate influence out of Washington and making politician accountable to the electorate. If you can accomplish that, then you can settle policy issues via the democratic government, as intended.

I agree! The ruse the Intell. gangs love is to plant agent provocateurs among you. These people will want to start violence. Be aware of these kinds of people. In the 60's they were used widely with great effect in breaking up Orgs. and stopping actions. Don't be naive about this our enemies is very resourceful and nasty as hell.

if you witness violence do something non-violet to stop that violence
