Agreed.
People who could simplify the nation's problems and simply fix them sounds like a good idea to me. The majority of people out there haven't familiarized themselves with anacronist syndicalism or the writings of Noam Chomsky. But they are not stupid. Any village idiot sees that you simply cannot indefinately spend more than you bring in.
