Forum Post: A Note from Your Boss, the American People

Frankly, I am appalled by your job performance. Normally I would not use such abrupt words when reviewing an employee but you really leave me no choice. Of course, you work for me, the American public. If I had a Staples “Easy” button I would use it to eject all of you from your seats immediately. Unfortunately, it seems that I am stuck with most of you for at least a few years longer.

I don’t like employees who blame others’ for their lack of results. Every speech you give blames the other party or the people in office before you for the problems that the country has right now. Every policy that you propose is unimaginative and has already been tried. Where is that American “can do” spirit? There are plenty of unemployed Americans right now and I am sure that any number of them would love to start working on these interesting economic challenges.....
