Forum Post: 5 year presidential term- outside the box solution to citizens united

i just made a petition to vote on an amendment to push the presidential term from 4 years to 5... this would push back against those who want to flood the airwaves with commercials by making them spend on 3 campaigns instead of two... it would allow whoever was the president to put more time into solving problems and less on the campaign trail... and it would give voters more time to study candidates... i feel it would solve a lot of problems... if you think its good heres the link
