I like the movement, but some clear goals would be nice. How about: 1) End the trillion dollar wars 2) End corporate political sponsorship 3) Cut the Pentagon budget by 75% and use all the money to create green jobs and food and housing!

Job boom plan for America

For the protest to guarantee winning the next election the plan needs to be force the multinationals to buy all their supplies only made by American workers. Prevent any imports from China and known slave states from being unloaded. The 13th amendment abolished slavery. Having slave made goods in America is unconstitutional.

Unions should have their own pay scale. Any workers who don't want to join the union will need to negotiate their own pension, their own wages, their own health care. Workers who refuse to pay dues need to be penalized, not rewarded. Let the scabs get screwed and they might get the message.

End all tax deductions or tax credits and use a sales tax to collect taxes so even criminals will pay their taxes. Eliminate the entire IRS which would save $400 billion annually. The FAIR TAX does this. The Congress hates the FAIR TAX because it eliminates their tax loophole kickbacks for bribes. That's why they misinform the public when they call the FAIR TAX regressive.

To refuse to vote for that platform would be stupid and insane. The privileged keep ripping off all the rest of us and the public is in their propaganda trance allowing that to happen. Any person against this plan is sabotaging the OWS protest and needs to be heard. Let's hear any reason to oppose this end globalization screw job. http://overthecoals.blogspot.com/

I think we all would be better served with just ONE demand. End the federal reserve.

Could'nt agree more thats one of my main points.

Now for the really important changes that will keep the people and the government on an equal playing field and limit lobbyists influence to our detriment the following is suggested so that we can start a movement for real change. Everything starts with our government that’s the true cause of this country’s problems:

Congressional Reform Act

1.Term Limits.

Max:

· 2 terms for Senators. 6 years each term, max 12 years.

· 3 terms for House Representatives. 2 years each term max 6 years.

A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives a pension salary for 2 years after service.

Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system.

1.Congress can purchase their own retirement plan like regular federal employees do.

2.Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. The American Public will vote on this based on the Federal Budget information shared with the public.

3.Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as regular Federal employees do.

4.Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career and all laws and benefits the American people have should apply to Congress. Congress should have no different system (Social Security & Retirement plans) than the American people. Congress is voted in by the people to serve the people.

  1. Implementing an immediate ban on all private contributions of money and gifts, to all politicians in federal office, from Individuals, Corporations, Political Action Committees, Super Political Action Committees, Lobbyists, Unions and all other private sources of money to be replaced by the fair and equal public financing of all federal political campaigns.

  2. The immediate reversal, or even if it requires a Constitutional Amendment, of the "Citizens United" case by the Supreme Court, which equates the payment of money by corporations and unions to politicians with free speech.

  1. Prohibiting all public officials and their immediate family members, whether elected or appointed from being employed by any corporation they regulate while in office and/or holding any stock or shares in any corporation they regulate while in office until a full 6 years after their term is completed.
  1. A complete lifetime ban on accepting gifts, services, money, directly or indirectly, to any elected or appointed official from any person, corporation, union or other entity that the public official was charged to regulate while in office.

  2. Re-installment of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933

Defense spending provides a lot of good jobs, both military and civilian, public and private.

Yes to all 3.

Let's start with number 2) and when we have achieved that solve 1) and 3) democratically. Maybe there is a good reason to cut the Pentagon budget with 74% instead of 75%, so I would like to have a serious debate over that by representatives chosen by the people.

I would like a new car given to me, let's include that in the demands as well
