This is what happens when you disagree with a liberal. I posted many stories on here that were the truth and got slammed for them. Libs are only for the destruction of our Country and nothing else

You certainly make a great point, but I'm not quite sure what you consider the "truth." Since truth "conforms to reality," and reality is relative to the perceiver, the only "truth" can be what is not not relative.
Jesus called himself the Truth, and since he considered himself God, a non-relative reality, you could consider that statement true, only if Jesus is in fact God.

A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs. They are political and social bigots. And bigotry is HIDEOUS wherever it rears it's ugly head.
It seriously depends on what exactly mudFlapp's been posting. If he's been doing what you've been doing (taking an honest look at what OWS has and has not been doing and then based on that giving an evaluation of what they are or are not getting right and where they should go) and he got treated like crap, then we all owe him an apology because nobody with valuable input should be treated like that and we need people who are willing to question us because otherwise it's too easy to stop questioning ourselves.
That said, I have serious doubts that that's what's been happening here. There are enough people on here who disagree with OWS on various issues that if he were treating the issue rationally and professionally he'd probably have a fairly positive rating. The fact that he's running around below zero means that even if he had serious, valid points to make he most likely chose to shoot off his mouth and insult people instead. I personally don't think we should go easy on or pity mudFlapp, but rather that we should set the same standard of discourse for our own as for our opponents.
That could very well be true on muddflaps part. And if he is being an idiot on purpose, then by all means vote him into the depths of hades for all I care. :-) But my position regarding how they treat EVERYONE who doesn't agree with them remains the same.
YOU are different than 90% of them ARod, and many people have pointed that out. At least YOU are willing to entertain the idea that someone might not agree with them without being a paid, brainwashed, propaganda fed zombie.
I figured; there is a group of people on here who have a remarkable tendency to get angry and defensive when they see people who think differently from them, and that group does cut across both sides of the aisle. The only differentiation I'd make is that the ones who do this from the right know exactly what they're getting into when they come on here to begin with, so in their case it's just plain trolling. I want our people to clean up their act and avoid insults and ad hominem attacks as much as possible, so that we can distinguish between dissenters and trolls, and when we get actual trolls we have the moral authority to deal with them as such without getting dragged into World War III about "censorship" or whatever other buzzword they choose to trot out when called out for what they are.
Sweetie...I love your optimism..I really do. I'd love nothing more than for you to prove my suspicion that you'll NEVER accomplish that goal, to be wrong. If you do accomplish it, then I'll be the first to admit that I should never have doubted you and that YOU WERE RIGHT all along. Deal?
Of course; I personally don't think that's ever going to completely happen, but I figure that if I set this as a goal and mobilize with that end in mind, I'll be at least able to get halfway there (and that's a lot farther than I'd get than if I assume it's not possible to begin with). Basically, as long as my resolve doesn't break the first time I aim for the stars and land on my ass (and I've flopped enough other times that I can't see that happening) I let myself believe that perfection is possible because I don't see any harm in it. ;-)
Perfection MIGHT be possible, but one experiences less disappointment (and more happy surprises) if one focuses on what is most probable instead. :-)
