Through democracy, capitalism can be regulated, and controlled.

This is important. It does require a level of honesty within democracy, meaning the voting process must be secured by every check and balance necessary to remove fraudulence and deceit.

You might be too young to remember what America was like when regulated capitalism provided hope and wealth for everyone.

The upper tax rates were in the high 90%, and the middle class was booming.

Wall St was somewhere for the brokers to make it, or go broke.

I think we've been down this road before, but I've just described a successful capitalist society, can you return the favour, and describe a successful socialist society?
