I'm sorry to have to be the one to point this out, but this DKAtoday person is one stupid individual. I just spent hours arguing against partisanship and arguing for bipartisan cooperation on campaign finance reform, and DKA's final word on the subject was:

"BuBye waste of time BuBye. Go somewhere else to defend your repubs - ummm corp(se)oRATists in office."

Appointing somebody who can't read as your moderator can only have a dumbing effect on the community as a whole. It's pretty sad.

Wonder what paradigm, vision, or platform can allow bipartisan efforts... or even greater.. how can we build coalitions and political networks.... Well perhaps we would build them based on:

1) reforms, General Reforms, Specific Reforms, Campaign Reform, Lobby Reform, Financial Reform on Wall Street for Investment Banks, Environmental reforms, Corporate Reforms, Accounting reforms, ratings Agency Reforms... What reforms would you suggest???

2) Justice and Constitutional Repairs, Privacy, Individual Rights, Worker Rights, Labor Rights, Job Rights, Education Rights, Health Care Rights, Consumer Rights, Debt Rights, Geneva Convention Rights... What Rights would you Reform???

3) Political Reform, since their is only one political party in the USA, but we live in a Socialist Country with Socialist Programs that are very Popular for the Elderly, for those that want to retire, for those that have lost a job, and for those that have a disability... There needs to be a whole National Political Discussion at the National Level in all Major cities and all US States. What is Fascism? What is Duopoly. What is Conflict of Interest. What does it mean that we protected Nazi scientists, brought them to the USA, and gave them government jobs. What was Nazi Financing and how has that become similar in the USA. What does it mean that we have the structure of a Military Empire. What does it mean that we have a domestic police force that is trained like the military and like the Nazis. What does it mean that 90% of Federal Government is treated like secret data or secret Info. What does it mean that we have 14 Federal Intelligence Agencies, that their budgets are secret, that their functions are secret, that they may duplicate functions since their tasks & functions are secret... what does it mean that we give total power to contractors, telecommunications companies, and government agencies that can blackmail government officials & clerks at all levels of government with the information gathered.

4) Financial Reform, Compensation Reform, Corporate Reform, Influence reform, Conflict of Interest and influence from organizations that can make your career, give you a promotion, provide you with bonuses, provide you with Trust Funds, and help you avoid taxes... Do you see something here to reform. Will you comment.

Are you Familiar with the works of David Cay Johnston???

A platform or basis for discussion could be looked at in the context of "Living in the Solution rather than the Problem".

As I see it many in Washington simple Enable the Status Quo. Bipartisan maintenance of Status Quo.

Try actually reading my posts. I sincerely doubt that you can. It really doesn't reflect well on this forum to have an illiterate for a moderator. I spent all night arguing for nonpartisanship and bipartisan cooperation and saying that I don't have much faith in the idea because of the rabid partisans, and you spent all night making republican cracks and ignoring my central message, PROVING MY POINT. And you're admitting now that you didn't even realize it. Seriously, so sad.

Just go away - it was a pretty good day here - untill you showed up with your BS about there being a republican party anymore and that I was alienating republicans.

SHITHEAD - The Republican party does not exist anymore - it is the corp(se)oRATist party now - playing 2nd fiddle to Heritage CATO ALEC the Kochs Halliburton WallStreet etc etc etc.

No need to thank me - send a thank you to the site admin. Every contributor ( CONTRIBUTOR ) to this site is a moderator - some just more outspoken then others - but the site does the final moderation.

BTW - I expect to see a lot of flack from shills who attack the site for your having posted this.

I like the double entendre topic title.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

double entendre??? Really? It is an unnecessary post as I do not keep this place clean ( though I and others do confront call-out trolls/shills/sellouts ) - the site does that. But double entendre???

[-] 1 points by DebtSUSPENSIONRights (181) 10 years ago

Big Thanks to DKAtoday is one...

then, Big Thanks to DKAtoday is the other one.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

Do you even know what a double entendre is?

[-] 1 points by DebtSUSPENSIONRights (181) 10 years ago

yes, it means one sentence has two meanings.

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

So - what is the double entendre ? Where do you see two meanings?

[-] 1 points by DebtSUSPENSIONRights (181) 10 years ago

The first one is a sports metaphor, an assist. Big Thanks to DKAToday.

The second is the more conventional meaning.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

The first one is a sports metaphor, an assist.

I fail to see where you come up with - an assist.

i am just a long time contributor. not a moderator. i have no problem with who many here call shills. it is fine to have people with many opinions. i just do not like trolls who spam and use insults.
